XRP News: Craig Wright Made ‘Dumb Argument’: Ripple CTO

XRP News: The ugly banter between David Schwartz, Ripple CTO and Craig Wright, self proclaimed Bitcoin creator over the XRP token and its utility continues. The war of words that started from Bitcoin adoption by institutional investors has reached criticizing each other.

Ripple CTO Slams Craig Wright again

Ripple CTO in a Twitter thread stated that Craig Wright made a dumb argument over the XRP ledger. David Schwartz claimed that he pointed out that the argument was dumb and did not attack self proclaimed Bitcoin creator at all. However, Wright attacked him and XRP.

Earlier, Coingape reported that Craig Wright Called XRP a ‘Useless Pump And Dump Scheme’. However, Ripple CTO came back all with all guns blazing.

He added that Craig is on purpose trying to be painful to engage with to prevent his ideas from being lambasted in public. The first reason is that all Layer 1 will scale if there is a much required demand. It can happen through federation, roll ups, and many other ways. While the main reason is that Layer 1 does not need to scale. It needs to exist and be usable. However, this will be enough to push the major traffic to better mechanisms.

He further stated that the vast majority of BTC transactions are already running off-chain. While he still called Craig Wright’s argument gibberish which is mixed with personal insult.
