Bitcoin Falls 0.55%, Ethereum Down 0.84%, Monero Becomes Top Gainer

The crypto market was trading with losses today. Both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) fell. Solana (SOL) was the most trending crypto today.

The crypto market cap fell 0.71 per cent to $812.82 billion, while its trading volume was down by 11.85 per cent to $27.05 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 5:30 pm IST.

Today’s top gainer was Monero (XMR); it was up by 2.15 per cent to $155.30. The top loser was Lido DAO (LDO), which was trading at $1.28, at a loss of 7.92 per cent in the last 24 hours as of Friday evening.

Major Currencies

Bitcoin (BTC): BTC fell 0.55 per cent, and it was trading at $16,742.54. Its market cap decreased by 0.59 per cent to $322.37 billion, and its trading volume decreased by 8.65 per cent to $14.26 billion. BTC’s dominance over the crypto market was 39.7 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): ETH’s trade was highly volatile today and it fell by 0.84 per cent to $1,243.59, even as its market cap increased to $152.15 billion. Its trading volume dropped by 25.22 per cent to $3.75 billion.

Other Altcoins

Ripple (XRP): XRP’s price fell 1.92 per cent to trade at $0.3346. Its trading volume decreased 3.83 per cent to $697.68 million.

Solana (SOL): SOL’s price dropped 2.29 per cent to $12.97. It was the most trending crypto today.

Cardano (ADA): ADA’s price increased by 1.27 per cent to $0.2695, and its trading volume increased by 17.90 per cent to $253.4 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE): DOGE’s price fell 1.54 per cent to $0.07043 and its 24-hour trading volume increased by 24.88 per cent to $312.7 million.

Shiba Inu (SHIB): SHIB’s price fell 3.49 per cent to trade at $0.000008233.

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) was down by 0.41 per cent to $5,331.99. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 40.51 per cent to $14,160,269.

Avalanche (AVAX) was down by 3.75 per cent to $11.43 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 33.12 per cent to $124,466,204.

Aave (AAVE) was trading with a loss of 2.05 per cent at $54.48 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 41.11 per cent at $36,462,406.
