Hyderabad to host Blockchain Conference 2.0

Hyderabad: IBC Media, a web 3.0 innovation company on Tuesday announced the launch of IBC Continuum Web3.0 and Hackfest Challenge at T-Hub in Hyderabad, for professionals and students across India. The theme for this year’s conference is IBC 2022-23 Continuum.

Hyderabad had the merit to host India’s first-ever, and Asia’s largest conference on blockchain, by International Blockchain Congress (IBC) in 2018. The second edition, IBC 2022-23 Continuum, will witness participation of internationally acclaimed speakers, informative and engaging sessions, and network opportunities with industry leaders and government think-tanks. An initiative of this year’s conference is the IBC Education and Certification Programme (IBC Tech Voyage) designed specifically to migrate engineering students from Web2.0 to Web3.0 industry-ready developers. Under the programme, orientation and education by blockchain and Web3.0 experts will be held, followed by training, brainstorming sessions, and speed building. The IBC programme will end with a Demo Day based on which the winners will be declared.

“IBC 2022-23 Continuum aims to offer students and participants a chance to take part in direct discussion with the movers and shakers of the blockchain industry. Thereby they get to understand not just the future of blockchain but the next generation Internet, digital economy and Web3.0,” Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, IT – government of Telangana said. The second edition of the International Blockchain Congress 2.0 is being held by a joint organising team, comprising of various State governments, government agencies, and industry participants, besides, IBC Media.

IBC also informed about Alt Hack, an on-ground Hack Fest that will be held in three cities across India. The winners will receive cash prize of Rs 1 crore, and above. The first round of hackathon is taking place at Tech Mahindra in Hyderabad from November 22 – 29, 2022. The second city is Visakhapatnam, from December 10 to 18, 2022.
